Stewart Will Play The Role Of Princess Diana

Us actress Kristen Stewart, best known for her role in the “Twilight” films, is set to play Britain’s Princess Diana in The new drama “Spencer” directed by Bob Laraine. Shooting is expected to begin in early 2021.
“Spencer” is about a weekend in the early 1990s when Diana realizes that her marriage to Prince Charles will not work out and decides to turn her back on the Queen reserve. Director Pablo Larrain said Stewart’s “sometimes mysterious, sometimes fragile, but at the end of the day strong” personality suited The role of Princess Diana. “That’s what we needed.”

Diana Spencer was born in Norfolk, England, on July 1, 1961, the youngest daughter of The Earl of Edward Spencer. She married Charles, Prince of Wales, on July 29, 1981. She was Charles’ first wife and the biological mother of Princes William and Harry. On August 28, 1996, Diana broke off her engagement to Charles and was allowed to retain the title princess of Wales. Princess Diana died in a car crash in Paris on August 31, 1997.

Kristen Stewart made her debut in such films as “Panic Room,” “Murder House,” “Thief of Horrors,” “No More Silence,” and “Dark Tide.” Stewart was best known for her role as Bella in 2008’s “Twilight” and has since starred in four sequels. In January, her sci-fi film Monsters of the Sea was released.
